No resolution. The dealer wanted to continue working on it but Honda refused to cover any more warranty payments on the work. So I just decided to live with it.
Let's be less misleading. Neither of those captions are correct. The first is an aluminum mine. Most of the oil sands production is from strip mining, and not whatever that second picture shows.
I don't think it's from him, I watch most of his videos and haven't seen anything like that. The survey data here seems to say that even at 150k miles, most Teslas are still above 90% capacity. https://electrek.co/2018/04/14/tesla-battery-degradation-data/
He says those engines are weaker because they were assembled in Europe. How about hatch engines not assembled in Europe, are they as weak as the European ones? My hatch engine was assembled in Thailand.
I used black coroplast (that corrugated plastic that election signs and stuff are made out of) to block off my lower grille for winter. It was easy to install with a few zip ties and helped with warmup times and maintaining temperatures on the highway. The upper grille openings are easy to...
I think it was racksforcars.com, but I don't see this kit on there anymore. Maybe try European Amazon or something if you can't find any in North America.
I heard that they're good for street but kind of dusty. I've never actually used them. I don't need them, so whatever your right price is will probably be good for me.
Hey I saw you out at Gimli, I had the silver Integra. Too bad to hear about your car :(. I used Hawk HPS pads in my Civic and they were good enough for a few track weekends per year, and they were also good for the street. I also have a set of brand new EBC Yellow pads that I could sell if...
The dealer wasn't able to fix it. To the best of my knowledge, it's the brake caliper or pads shaking around that causes the noise. The noise only happens when I'm not using the brakes.
My dealer replaced a lot of parts trying to track this down. They took apart and replaced most of the...
That's what happens with efficient engines, they make less heat. Do you use a block heater? I use a block heater and also block off my grille in winter to reduce airflow through the radiator. I usually have sufficient heat even through cold Winnipeg winters.
That's kind of my point, if it was a good daily driver then wouldn't you want to drive it every day? There doesn't seem to be as much holding back Golf R and STI drivers from wanting to drive their car more frequently.
I get the impression that the Type R isn't a great daily driver. Most of the used ones that I see for sale have very low mileage, noticeably lower than a Golf R or STI of the same model year. It seems like the typical Type R owner doesn't actually drive their car very much.
