I’m in the middle of changing my oil and pulled the skid plate off and I noticed two holes in the bottom of the transmission. No oil seems to be coming out and one of the areas is where a threaded bolt goes through while the other is next to a black plastic Plate of some sort.
obviously, I’m quite concerned that this could progress into something else!
Suggestions?? I’m bolt on and custom tuned and still “under” warranty.

Both are normal. That the black inspection plate. Inside is clutch. If your main seal was leaking that hole would provide evidence of an issue. The other hole is just where transmission is connected. A thread hold for the bolt to go through. Not connected to the inside of trans.
Your fine.

Thank you! What a relief 😮💨. Also, any suggestions for removing the Honda oil filter? I have the wrench adapter but it’s slipping off and it’s now become chewed up.
i’m forced to leave the old one on there since I already drained the oil :/

Put some gloves on and twist that bish off!

You really don't need to be using that socket adapter until it's time to torque the filter, which isn't much more than hand-tight anyways (~9-10 ft/lbs).

Whatever you do don't try to run the car with a crushed up oil filter.
I wouldn’t say it crushed. The part were an oil filter wrench would grab on to is stripped a good bit and has some minor dents. I had no choice since I drained the oil already and needed the car.

or the dirty way stab it with a screwdriver and twist

Probably should get the correct size oil filter wrench so it doesn't chew it up in the future

And pray to the oil gods that the cheap Chinese metal doesn’t dissolve on contact 😁😉

I have the correct size. I believe the dealer just over tightened it. I’ve used it in the past without issue.

I thought about stabbing it with a screw driver. Since I put fresh oil in it, I’ll drive it for a hundred miles then check on the oil filter and make sure it’s not leaking. I’ll update with a pic of it so you can see it’s not THAT damaged. Then I’ll change the oil in 3,000 miles which will probably take me a year 😆

OR.. I can drain the oil into a container and re use it.
