No worries. Lot of bad af info out there. Yeah like $50 in octane booster to jump a few points. Horrible.I was just bsing around about dumping a bunch of that crap in at once.
Always has been that way.If you think it is so bad here look around the world and see what other countries deal with on gasoline and other living/costs issues. You may find it is pretty good here...still.
Yep. That was my point.Always has been that way.
I'm calling BS on thatDO NOT use 87 in the K20C1 EVER unless it is an absolute emergency. There is a small performance shop down the street from my house that is doing a motor swap on another local FK8 because the kid that owns it bought it used and wasn't really an "enthusiast" thus he fed the car strictly 87 for about 3 months before he blew it up.
Probs turned on that hondata anti-lag without knowing it’ll go boomI'm calling BS on that
87 octane is NOT THE REASON that engine blew up
If I drive mine like a normal car, 32-35 is easily attainableBy the owner's manual it does say "91 octane recommendation" and using lower octane, you will lose performance. I wouldn't use 87 on my car. My R does get pretty good MPG. I had to put it in "comfort" for a couple of mile cause the road here sucks.
Ain't no way even in the snow you won't hit boost when trying to drive your car lol. Put in the good stuff don't abuse your baby!So 87 octane is fine for winter driving?....
Won't be going under boost, my other car broke and won't be fixed for a few weeks so have no choice but to drive Type R.
Haha fine but I am putting the tune back to stock at least lolAin't no way even in the snow you won't hit boost when trying to drive your car lol. Put in the good stuff don't abuse your baby!
