Wow, I'm really going to date myself saying this...
My first brand new car was a '76 Pontiac Sunbird and I paid cash for it... $2500. Terrible car that I traded in for a '79 Trans Am. Traded that in for my first Honda... an '84 CRX. Traded that in for an '87 Integra.

AARP gets sent to the outside trash can as soon as it comes out of the mailbox ... it never even gets to see my foyer!I'm old but in denial.I still tear up every piece of mail AARP sends me about joining.

I was a Senior, sitting in my Psychology class ... my girlfriend (now my wife) was sitting in the seat in front of me ... and the announced the Shuttle Explosion was announced over the school PA system.
Our teacher turned on the CCTV, and we all watched in horror and shock.
As for computers ... TRS 80, with cassette storage, was what I was most familiar with!

This was my first computer probably got it around ‘90 or so before turning 10... admittedly it was an old hand me down. I played crap games on it for hours...
