Windshield Wipers Sport Hatch

How often to replace windshield wipers? I noticed mine make an annoying sound sometimes, car is about a year old. Change annually? Change according to mileage? Are their specific wipers for the 2018 Sport Hatch?

I change mine every spring as the winter kills them. I always get Bosch Icon.

Thank you. I purchased my car right at the onset of winter last year, so I'll try and ride out this season then change accordingly. They are still effective/not smudging or anything - just the sound at times when the rain is mild is more annoying than anything.

Oh yeah, just slide right out I believe if I remember when I had my Civic. I buy them for all my cars.

Stock wipers usually last 6-8 months anyway. Shorter in winter of course.

**Tip** Clay your windows and apply Rain-X! You won't believe how much better the visibility is AND how much easier your wipers will work.

Or ceramic coat which is what I did. Makes a whole worlds difference.

+1 for Bosch Icons. I initially replaced just my driver side one after about 8 months on stock wipers. I got annoyed with the passenger side and replaced that one just recently. Bosch Icons + RainX = rarely have to use wipers and when you do its quiet and squeaky clean.

Yeah I might change them out next time around. Bought the inserts from honda at 16k miles - but those alone were $12. Might just see if the bosch lasts longer next time.

My oe wiper blades only lasted 1 year before I have to replace them. Silicone is probably the way to go
