I would say overnight would be long enough.
Also have you tried to get to the diagnostic screen of the head unit. There is a self diagnostic check the unit can do, then it will output any errors.
Getting there depends on model year, on my 2017 it is holding the Menu, Power, and Day/Night...
Has anyone ever removed the unit for any reason? I had something similar happen and it ended up being an unplugged harness in the back of the unit. Also you should try disconnecting the battery overnight.
@sherryjenix
Did you lose some of your speedometer customization?
I lost a number of things like the G-meter, brake/acceleration gauge etc. The only selections left are fuel economy and lap timer. Joying did not have a resolution.
I did this and OF COUSE the dealership also gave me the wrong crush washer despite me giving them the exact part number.
I suggest everyone bring a caliper (or the bolt itself) and measure the washer they give you before leaving!
Thanks
It is too bad Honda does not do updates to these dated systems. I am a bit worried about long term connections with Android Auto. At least is is still functional for now.
Android Auto has never worked perfectly, but lately, when navigating using google maps, the screen refresh rate has dropped to around one update every 5 seconds! :(
I truied 2 different phones, so I think it may be one of the many updates. Has anyone else noticed a slowdown when navigating?
I had this installed on my 2017 SI but am going back to stock before selling the car
Had it on for one year. It is in good shape. It looks identical to the Mishimoto setup. Comes with hoses and it ready to bolt up to the turbo 10th gen. I don't know exactly what variations it fits however...
This recently happened to me after I removed my radio temporarily. For the record in my case I didn't plug a wiring harness completely in. Once I redid the wiring in back it was fine
Just like you I have always been worried about cleaning that. Its made of clear plastic. The problem is that some of that "dust" may contain sand or things that can scratch it. Maybe brush off the dust first with a non abrasive brush, then nothing but a microfiber cloth to clean the surface.
