I was disappointed that the Honda Trunk Tray/Liner I purchased is made out of such a cheap, slippery plastic. I guess I was spoiled by the quality rubberized Monster Mat I had in my old car. I find in this car, anything in the trunk will slide around with the slightest turn or hill - not good for my laptop! Taking a cue from VW's trunk design, I bought 10 feet of industrial strength Velcro and made a section that will hold velcro "walls" - similar to the VW organizer blocks that stick to their trunks' carpet. Hopefully the velcro's sticky backing will adhere well enough to be usable. Should be okay for light duty.

Added illuminated door sill trim panels and the ambient interior lighting - really pleased with it. Next will be putting my 19" HFPs on!

I am pretty sure the reason they used that material was to reduce weight. Every add-on they sell adds weight which adds up and reduces mileage and adds extra to suspension. The idea is to catch liquids, spills from grocery and transport, and I think it achieves that. I wonder if there is a rubbery spray to you put on there to help?

My Monster Mat wasn't much heavier, it just had a much different grip. It was much more like the optional all weather floor liners in feel. I've pulled both out a number of times, and the Honda Liner doesn't really feel that much lighter than my old monster mat - both are easy to pull out and shake in the wind to get rid of debris. The monster mat might flex easier, though, making it easier to pull out. I'm sure the difference in weight is not much more than a pound or two. I took two wash buckets for a test drive today and they stayed perfectly still with my velcro solution. As long as the velcro adhesive doesn't give out, I'm very happy with that "upgrade."

As an added test, since the bag hooks/trunk hooks state they can only hold 3 pounds (a ridiculously small amount to get out of any warranty claims!), I tested one with an 18 pound purchase, and it held just fine for the ride home...

I also got my tint done today - and its 60 degrees in winter so it will dry up much sooner! 35% front, 20% rear. (MO legal limit only applies to front windows). Plan to get my new plates on later as well, but that's not nearly as exciting.

That looks great! The tinting on the WOP and Aegean Blue almost makes me wish I had picked one of those two colors.
Well it definitely took a while to find this color. There were no more than 10 within 300 miles of me when I purchased.

At the dealer now getting the audio amp TSB update done, looking into why my infotainment screen blacks out at startup, and why I cannot connect to Apple Car Play at all...

Is this attached permanently? Any chance it could warm up if the wireless pad is in use? (Hopefully in the iPhone 7)

Not permanent, I attached it with those 3M easy remove sticky pads. As for the Qi charging, I opted out of that since Apple will probably be using a proprietary wireless charging technology and not Qi.

Installed LED fogs and a black set of wheel locks... planning to get some colored lugs soon but I'll have pics of those when they're on in a week or two. Haven't decided what color combo I want to do yet.
