Finally after 6 years XD, the car is being modded lol, Installed PRL HVI on my 2018 CW Type R

Today I installed a valve cover hardware kit from Downstar inc. I like they way it looks and matches the other purple elements i already had, BUT i'm not sure i reccommend it. Not really satisfied with quality and it took them 2weeks to ship an "in stock" item.. Cant help thinking i paid 100$ (60+shipping+customs) for 10 "chinese" bolts.. Install was not super easy like i expected, as it involved (re)moving 2 support brackets for those coolant (?) metal hoses as well as my FSTB to access all the bolts.

I also did a 1€ DIY mod! That blue piece is your clutch pedal stop. I added one of those things you put under a chair leg to reduce noise. Now i don't have to press my clutch all the way and it engages immediately when i start removing my foot..

After a month, I finally got my car back for the body shop!

Well, my happiness was short-lived. What I thought was an optical illusion was actually my hood fluttering.

Just noticeable on dash-cam. But very disconcerting.


The body shop knows and are perplexed. I paid for an OEM hood to be used. Unless something is wrong with the latch.

So replacing a clutch by yourself fucking sucks, and it's only going to be worse putting it back together.

Just took a quick shot of my car on a parking lot. I have to say I have a good looking car --- in my opinion.
