I have been looking through the huge threads on aftermarket wheels and seem to be getting conflicting information on what size tire I can run on the Volk TE37SL 18 x 9.5 38 mm offset. I don't have any plans of lowering the car, so it will be staying at stock ride height. What size tire can I run that is closest to the stock dimensions without having to worry about rubbing? I have seen some say 275/35/18, 265/35/18 and even 255/40/18.

If you are on stock suspension, 255/40 would be your best bet, and it fills in the wheel gap nicely. You may experience very minimal rubbing at the front fender corner tabs but, only on very hard dips when the suspension compresses.

My TE37SL 18x9.5 +38 on 255/40 (Bridgestone RE970AS):

Since no one has Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in stock until August (if you backorder them now), I am going to go with Falken Azenis FK510. They are in stock and can bridge the gap until the new batch of PS4S tires come in. It is a manufacturer backorder so unless some has old stock from before, there are no new PS4S to be had. The price also went up on the tire as well.

Wish I ran the OG decals and black stems on my Club Racers before I sold them. Looks so much better
