Best Tire Choice For 18 X 9.5 Not A DD

2018 Civic R.
Dumping the stock wheels and tires for something that offers a little more protection between the pothole and the wheel...
Looking at a 18 X 9.5 wheel and looking for the very best tire choice for longish runs (5 hours) to the track - run a track day - and a drive back.
This is not a daily driver and I'm not all that concerned with longevity issues (within reason).
If you could chose the tire it would be the ____________________________________.

If not your daily driver, I would just run stock wheels, and stick NT01 on the 18x9.5 for the track. But if that is an issue I would go Hankook RS-4. We use them for enduro. They wear like iron, and only a second or two off pace of a Re71r.
