Are you using upgraded radiator hoses? Any feedback if they are worth it? I’m going Koyorad as the rad will be blocked by the oil cooler. Thinking of doing hoses. Just need those and dtc-30 and then I’m set for the track

Using stock hoses at the moment. Due to your build it won't hurt for you to upgrade to proper hoses. It'll be sort of like a preventative maintenance. I'm not running my car hard at the moment. A few pulls here and there.

Working on some things for the car...changes coming

Had a nice surprise last week from my local 10thgen club! I'm one of the techs that takes care of majority if their vehicles and they through me a surprise while I was working at @Unity Performance

I was doing a side marker install when the gang walked in! This was all to say a big THANK YOU for everything I have done for them!

I can't thank all of them enough for what they did and it's just making me want to do more for everyone. Felt nice to be appreciated like that! Here is the video!

Note: they collectively gifted me a set of the new Mugen style tail lights! Will post pics later.

Here are a couple of pictures of it installed !

The last picture shows it also has working rear fog light. Since I already had my wiring done for the euro tail lights with the oem signal stalk it worked no problem without any changes!

On Thursday I installed the @Vincent@27WON W2 turbo.

I had one of my buddies install a new bung on my 27won catted dp so I can run a dedicated gauge.

Have to get a custom tune done soon.

Going to run a boost and oil temp as well so once I have those two sorted out I'll run all the wires in. Going to most likely drill into the firewall and use a grommet.

I've always liked adding dedicated gauges to my builds one day but never got around to doing it to my previous builds. I didn't know what else to do this year so decided I'll just do it to this haha.

Anyway I decided to run dedicated gauges for AFR, Boost and oil temp.

Went with AEM X-SERIES gauges, AFR, BOOST, OIL TEMP.

For AFR I had one of my guys weld on a new bung before the cat.

For boost it'll tap into the existing vacuum line.

For oil temp this was tricky, I tried the mishimoto sandwich plate but it doesn't fit with the 1.5L. So thought I'd add an oil cooler but then decided I'd drill out the oem drain bolt and retap it. So did the recap have yet to see if it holds which I think it should.

I still have to wire up the power and ground, and also run the wiring through firewall to the different sensors.

But here is a progress report.

Btw the gauge Pillar was made by Ortiz Customs
