I caved to the deal. She’s been good to me. But today, we part ways. It was too good to refuse. 2019 SGP CTR 9,981 miles.

Did you trade it for the Accord? The Accord is probably the best car in its segment, for sure. Did you family transportation needs change? The CTR is not exactly the greatest family hauler I suppose!

No, I bought the Accord back in Feb. nothing changed. It’s just me for the family hauler. My only son lives in Florida. I had it for 15 months. After I bought the Accord, I found myself not driving it. The Accord being a 2.0t with the 10 speed, it’s just a great car. I just made my last child support payment, after 14 years and that and getting rid of my CTR, frees up about $2,200 a month. I have my eyes on other things, now. Perfect timing.

THAT will take you down the rabbit hole, but what it is a fun trip. Ask me how I know...

Exactly what I did, there is a bubble in the market and this will not last.

When you can profit greatly on a vehicle, always take the money.
I honestly don't see the value coming down for these cars.

Value on paper may go up in the course of a few decades (depending on how history views it compared to the forthcoming gen, of course), but when you factor in total cost of ownership and present value relative to inflation over the course of time at any given point in the future, this bubble we are seeing might very well be the best "jumping off" point for these cars in terms of minimal to no ownership costs.

While I have no plans to do it, but for those that do, not bad at all for the experience of owning and driving one of these from new for a good chunk of miles. Buying cars as an investment is dumb, and it is not very often one can break even or even pocket a few bucks.

It will, this vehicle is no more special than any other "limited" release vehicle of the past 50 years. There is a massive bubble of limited stock, high demand, and free money in people's pockets at the moment that is unprecedented.

This right here ^^

If you've been doing this a long as I have, you know we are in a rare era in buying and selling cars at the moment.
