Ctr already has wider wheel base. it could be an option for some if it bolts on. I dont want my wheels pushed out. Don't know if the trailing arms are different / longer. Knuckle is definitely different though.I have 25mm in the back and rim is pretty flush. I think minimum is 10-15mm required for bolt heads. It will be okay.
Ok well I'll go back to the post I had from Thusee because I swear he said they were aluminum, but as you have tried them I will defer to your knowledge. I've ordered some but they have not friggin' arrived yet.Not true. Type R rear brakes are not aluminum. They are the exact same caliper painted red with different bracket for larger rotors. I bought them. Type r rotor does not fit fk7 for several reasons. "Updating" rotors to stoptech does nothing if they are not larger. Stainless lines just stiffen brake pedal do not upgrade brakes. I have used these in the past. Race grade brake fluid I am assuming you mean dot 4 vs oem dot 3 just has a higher boiling point than oem. True pads will upgrade but they dust like crazy and wear out fast I have used hawk pads in my nsx calipers back in the day.
If your statement was true at all then why would the engineers at honda use a larger rotor on the Type R than on the FK7?
Don't understand why you felt the need to post this.
I am planning on it. Will be a traditional cast iron rotor that is CTR size. 305mm x 11mm. Will use oem caliper, pads, and the bracket will be cast iron but look like oem.I haven't looked at this thread for a while- PSPEC, are you planning to sell the rear kit when you have it finished? Definitely interested.
