I opened up KTuner today to do an update, and to my surprise it showed this:

Honda Civic 10th gen KTuner telling me Cylinder 4 is misfiring Screen Shot 2021-09-22 at 13.02.59

Am I reading it correctly when I say it's saying I've got a cylinder misfiring? My car is operating completely normally and I haven't noticing anything while driving. Also, is the knock count being 1 something to worry about?

Your knock control is 0.49 which is perfect. The knock sensor picks up false knock/noise all the time. A ton of misfires or knock counts in a very short time frame might be something to worry about. A count of 1 is meaningless, just keep an eye on K.Con.

Even that misfire event is nothing to worry about. If you were really misfiring, you'd throw a code.

These cars are so sensitive that if you fart or turn up the bass you'd probably show a "knock".

You are running a bit rich though.

Is that anything to worry about? I'm using 93 octane.

As far as trims, can you do a full 10 minute datalog of some mixed driving and post it here (.kflg format, zipped)?

A single knock like that is meaningless as others have said. It could be caused by a number of factors, including the AC compressor turning on apparently. Only worry if it is dozens of knocks in a matter of second/s, or if it throws a code.

Not quite 10 minutes but I hope this helps.

EDIT: For some reason it stopped recording in the middle of my drive, but hopefully it's still got some useful data.
