Hatchback sport window trim

I've been seeing several people on the 10 gen civic FB groups posting up pictures pics of their Hatchback Sports. All with different window trims.
Some are all black, some have the chrome/stainless strip on the upper half. Some on the lower half.
What's going on here ????

Sport/Sport Touring trims are supposed to come from the factory all black, no chrome window trim. Any deviation would be a mod or a factory error.

I was supposed to get this included in my deal but when I found out the top piece is chrome I changed it to the Trunk Tray.

Yes this thread he mentions his Sports black trim is peeling. Apparently it's just vinyl wrapped so maybe some dealers are peeling them?
