Found out why the car was throwing codes and sputtering.
The pump was out of the housing when I took it out today.
I put oem washer and the two orings on the tip in that order and pushed it into housing until it was snug.
Obviously this is wrong anyone want to tell me what I did wrong.
Wiring on the pump is fine and fuel connections were free of issues.
can you post some pictures so we can see?

This is how the tip was put in the first time:
Honda Civic 10th gen DW300c low pressure fuel pump 94A2D3E5-030B-4AD1-93A4-7281ADC03602

This is how it was hanging when I pulled it (clips on the basket we’re secure but a very tight fit when I put it in):
Honda Civic 10th gen DW300c low pressure fuel pump DA71A9F5-9F4C-4F4B-8918-0A23B41B0BE3

I’m thinking I just got unlucky and the clips somehow unclipped themselves, but this is also why I’m suspicious about my oring and oring support placement/use on the tip.
I believe I put everything on right but I’ve been wrong before.
Also sorry the images are so crappy I had to recreate it because I already took it all apart.

I just got the emissions/ rev match with P0087. Low fuel pressure in the fuel line..Going to take the DW300 out and make sure they used two gaskets on the tip...It's been idling rough since it was installed by another shop.

Just finished installing mine last night.
Worked fine.
Take it out this morning to top off and datalog.
WOT sputtering and limp mode with P0087.
Datalog attached; car was running like crap before anyways now it's just worse.
Bad install maybe? I don't think I did anything wrong.
Any thoughts?
email me the log, i cannot open it here- [email protected]

I have only ever put mine in with the one o-ring. Never seem to give me issues. Everyone else put it in with the 2x orings?

I cut holes in the bottom of my basket because the fitment for the dw300c was so tight, seemed to have worked because I haven’t had codes in months. You could also just have another bad pump (unlucky but possible).
Edit: I realized I said dw300c, I used an AEM pump so the fitment is not the same as OEM; sounds like another bad pump. Look at logs if you can to diagnose.

Installed it just like the factory or Hondata pump. No issues for about a year so far. I did have an issue with the Hondata one, left me stranded far from home.
