finally get to put my two cents in this thread lol…months of waiting for these and they fit perfect so here goes:
Volk TE37SL Pressed Graphite
18x9.5 +38
255/35/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
BC Racing BR series extreme drop coils
No rubbing or rolling of fenders needed, natural camber in rear w/no finger gap, one finger gap in front with flush fitment. considering adding a degree or two of camber in the front via camber plates and lowering to eliminate the small gap.

Damn so I just read this entire thread lol. Still undecided on what setup I want.

I have a 16’ Sedan EX-T on stock wheels/tires. Lowered on D2s with SPC rear camber kit.

I want bronze konig ampliforms wrapped in Michelin pilot sport

18x8.5 +35 235/40/18
Or
18x9.5 +35 235/40/18

looking for a flush look, what do you guys think?

Then again, when it comes to suspension/handling stuff, I'm conservative.

The AV20 bronze look good too. Hard choice between the ampliforms or the avid 20s.

Well after a bit of time, I am back to this thread. I recently purchased and installed D2 lowering springs, so it doesn’t leave me much room to play around with aggressive offsets on stock fenders. I am changed my opinions since I’ve last posted here. I am now looking for 255/35s on these springs with an 18x9.5 +38 wheel (likely firehawk Indy 500 tires and gram lights 57cr wheels). Would this fit without rubbing too much? If not then I’ll likely get a set of 18x8.5 +35 aodhan ds02 wheels with some 235/40s and experiment with small spacers to get the desired fitment. I like a flush, but I do think a few mils of poke looks great too.

you’ll be safe with the 18x8.5 set up. That’s the kind of “safe fitment” I’m going for on my sedan 1.5T. I’m also lowered on D2 springs. I’m still running stock wheels at the moment.

I’ve been eyeing a more aggressive 18x9.5 setup. Still doing my research. I messaged fitment industries and they told me on my car/setup anything bigger than 235 I would most likely rub on 9.5.

If you haven’t yet look at the fitment industries car gallery. You can fine tune the filter guide and see peoples different fitments. Furthermore, they normally add if they rub or had to do any fender modifications.

Do you think it would be possible to get away with a 245/40r18 tire on the 18x9.5 +35? I’m I kinda eyeing the ESR CS15 in that size, but I like the look of the stretch on a 245/40, 235/40 looks a little too stretched for my likings. Also with no modification does that mean without the fender tab mod?

On prokit
245/40 will rub, even at stock height
255/35 is more squared and meaty and doesn't except on big dips

You will most likely rub on 245/40. That’s why I emailed them specifically because I didn’t want to do any modification to my car. I had a bunch of question and they were able to clarify things and tell me what fitment setups would work on my lowered sedan EX-T.

no mod = no fender rolling/ no fender tab mod.
