So I bought a used 2018 Honda civic EX about 3 years ago. The problem is that the car doesn’t have the port to sustain Apple car play … it’s been removed (see attachments). My question now is, is it something I can replace? If so, is it worth it when you have to factor in the possible price as well as labor to install?
If it can be replace can someone also advise where I can get it.

Oof, I suppose it’s possible that it’s in there… somewhere… maybe they took apart the center console and forgot to realign that USB port, when reassembling.

Maybe you can unclip just that plastic door and fit an endoscope in there to confirm? Or better yet, maybe it’s dangling close enough to grab with a finger or hook? Not sure if you can reanchor it without accessing it from behind though.

EDIT: It looks like you can take off that whole cover in isolation:

You are a god sent! I literally just pulled it off and saw the cord tucked behind. I was able to put it back!! It’s crazy that it’s been so easy and I’ve been driving the car for 3 years without it
