The Accord has a hybrid version. I can't see why the Civic X wouldn't have a hybrid model either but I haven't heard or seen anything to indicate that this would be an option.
Considering the Civic X offers nearly the same mpg numbers as the defunct Insight and better than the CR-Z - Honda would really need to up the mpg game and make a Civic hybrid that could attain 50 mpg or better to rival the Toyota Prius line.
The previous gen had a hybrid version that's 10+ mpg better. If I remember correctly it was released a few yrs after the normal one so maybe this is still on their roadmap. I would love an X w/ 40/50+ mpg as long as they keep price reasonable and drivability in tact. Come on Honda.
