If it goes to production, even more reason for dealerships to maintain ADM. Can you imagine the ADM on this?

Cool story and color. A mild refresh for 2020?

Not sure how I feel about this car in yellow as the car is already overstyled and combined with a "look at me" color may be a little too much. I will reserve judgement until it a production version is revealed.

Ok so here is the latest from the UK rumour undercover agent inside source. No coincidence we've seen the yellow one just after the Megane trophy r broke cover....

    • New version will be called the 'ring edition or Nurburgring Edition
    • Nothing to do with HPJ, this was a mixture of BS and speculation that got a bit out of hand
    • Focus on weight saving
    • Lighter wheels
    • Stickier tyres
    • No A/C ( whiff of BS)
    • New particulate filter which will SAP power, so slight ECU tweak to keep it as is (20-30 increase would be nice)
    • New filter means exhaust will sound even quieter so fake sound will be pumped through speakers (I am calling BS on this one!)
As ever don't shoot the messenger

That's cool they're making a more track focused version. Its annoying everything has to have an "Edition"... Would be nice for them to call it the RR or something. Oh well we will see how it turns out.

Why would they revise the filter to lose 20-30 HP and then re-tune the engine to the same figures? That makes no sense

WLTP only knocked the Golf R down a few ponies. I guess the bright side is that a cat-back will provide a more measurable gain on these newer cars.

    Dumb crap.

The PY will be limited production. ADM through the roof. Minor facelift.

Possibly another trim with smaller rear spoiler for the rest of us? Hopeful.

I think it looks good! Really looking forward to seeing the new bumper designs. The ADM will be crazy! People should leave them on the lots until the dealerships stop the BS but we all know that wont happen. People will still pick them up haha.

No the filter knocks off about 10 bhp, so the ecu tweak would be to get it back to 306/316....I was saying another 20 or 30 on top would be nice...
