My poor Rawr :-(

So, a few weeks ago I was rear ended and pushed into a semi truck in front of me. The man who hit me feel asleep at the wheel, woke up just before he hit me and slammed on his breaks. Haven't posted here because I've been pretty bummed about it. Here are the pics after it happened.

It has been in the body shop for a while and I've been driving around in this crappy rental Jeep Compass.

Sorry man! How long before new parts come in and is that a good shop?

As far as I can tell this is a great shop. Never took anything there before. They know what the car is and stated they will replace everything that needs to be replaced regardless of what an insurance company tells them and have been doing it that way for over 20 years. They also stated they will cut no corners and it will be as good as new. It's right next to the Honda dealer as well and they have their work done there. They care about the car as much as I do. They have some parts in and are hoping to have it done next week. I don't think they will, but that's my opinion.

I've seen many shady body shops in my day. I worry most about overspray and panel alignment.

Yeah I know what you mean. Each part will be painted off the car. They said I will not be able to see a difference in paint colors. We'll see!

They do seem to like to try and run over Civics.. I nearly got hit from the rear by one at a stop light because she was on her mobile and not paying attention.. she stopped inches from my rear bumper.. swear I felt the wind from the beast of an SUV and it screeched to a halt.

damn..that hurts me seeing this. I probably shouldn't click on these links anymore. At least you're ok, that's the most important. That totally sux. Your body shop sounds pristine, and it's not like you'r paying out of pocket, so you should be good at the end of the day.
This lady did the same thing to my miata at a stop light. We were both stopped at a red. I just didn't go instantly when it turned green. But not for her. Soon as it turned green, she slammed on it and reared ended me.

Rt. 11 sucks balls almost just as much as 81. Shitty drivers on both...

Yeah when 81 shuts down you can count Rt 11 in that as well. The shop enjoys me coming in and taking to them. The dint mind taking to me about my car either. Seems like a great place.

Oh I will once the car is fixed. I'm using the Thinkware 770 with the rear cam.

Well from my driving experience it wouldn't be that hard to do lol. Not that I hit anyone, but I have drifted off once or twice.
