Is your traction control on, partially off, or fully off? Turned on, it is more prone to understeer, as it is safer. You can tap on the brakes, get a little more traction, and get out. Unlike the RWD, where you can give a bit more gas and rotate that ass..lol
If you need a little more...
Do not get a Remus exhaust. There is that flaw at the bottom of the valve, that continually breaks. Yes they will send you another one, but it's the same flaw in all of them. More than a few owners had that same issue. Save your money and get something more reliable.
I removed the Remus...
The Valve is broken at the bottom. I have had this issue many times. Last year I messaged Michael. He said they were making a different valve setup, because of the issues. I could get the old one sent now, or wait for the new setup. I opted to wait, as my car was in the shop for all of last...
Usually I feed it WRX's, Mustang's, some BMW's for dessert...LOL
Lately I have been using Casey's 88(E15), until I get my clutch replaced again(doesn't hold the torque), and flex fuel kit installed.
I don't get very good mileage, as long as I get over 15mpg, it's ok with me. I have a VERY heavy foot. I'm in it for the fun, not the mileage. Track work goes down in the single digits.
You shouldn't need Motec unless you have above 1400cc injectors. Unless you are wanting to squeeze out the absolute most HP/TQ, and the highly customizable tuning solution.
Some tuners are able to squeeze a lot out of the fuel system, but it could take a lot of fine tuning on a dyno to get...
Have you checked the voltage or had your battery tested yet? Having low voltage can cause a host of problems. It might sound stupid, but I have been working with electronics for over 30 years, and I have seen a lot of stuff that made me scratch my head.
Is it the same distance from the end of the actuator arm to the wastegate between the upgrade and stock turbos? One millimeter can make a difference. but if it is at 4, did they give you a different arm for it?
Tulio,
There is an option for Eventuri, but not for the Eventuri w/MAF500, or even with the turbo intake tube with the V2.
I am not the one that will be tuning it, but they have been tuning for many years, so I am sure the would figure it out. But I figured having a baseline with that option...
I am not an expert by any means. What I know is what I have read.
I believe they said that the oil pump starts to cavitation at around 7200 RPM.
If you get the upgraded oil pan, this is the pump you want...
I ordered the new MAF and I have the CF Eventuri intake(V1), and I have the CF V2 turbo tube and MAF housing waiting to be installed at my local tuner. Does the Eventuri have about the same flow as one of the other Intakes(with the MAF500 fuel parameters) that has the flow as the Eventuri, or...
