I’ve gone through couple tanks of gas on the new Sport 6MT, and the dash has shown around 32 mpg average, but after a few calculations, I don’t think the dash is quite right. I always fill my tank up, and I reset the “trip” after every fill up, and note the mileage and gallons , and this has what I have gotten:

257 miles / 8.4 gallons / 30.5 mpg. 313 mi/10.6 gl/29.5 mpg

Its not bad at all, I think it’s awsome that a car can get 30 mpg and be so fun to drive.

And it’s saying 32? sounds pretty accurate to me

The mpg figures from the car is off
by 1-3 mpg .... it’s close enough though compared to when you calculate it yourself

Mine shows 0.2-0.3 l/100km difference (SI 2017). Pretty impressive and much better than my 2014 SI (which was very optimistic)

I've never seen an accurate in-car mpg calculator, they're always optimistic by a couple mpgs.

Mine is the same way, reads 27-28 mpg regularly, calculates to 23-26 on average when comparing gas pumped to miles traveled at fill up.

This. They're all optimistic by a few MPG in my experience.

I don't hand calculate mine anymore, but when I used to, I was regularly 2ish MPG optimistic vs. actual calculation.

Surprisingly my old Accord was always within one mile and actually got better mpg vs this civic. So its a little disappointing at times but typically on here the gauge is 2 mpg higher than actual.

I actually get better MPG doing manual calculations than the calculations that the car does. I am averaging 38.5 MPG calculating manually, which is about 1 MPG better than the car says.

Wow 0.2 to 0.3 l / 100 km ( 0.2 to 0.3 litres / 100kms )
Ours LX show 6 to 7 l / 100 kms
Mine also displays in litres but it shows "Km/Litre" instead.
Is there any way to change the meter reading to "litres/100km"?
I have went through the menues and could not find the option
