I am about 77k miles with my 2018 Si. Been right at 25 months since I bought her. No major services. Only mod is a muffler delete, but I am gonna pull the trigger on a Ktuner really soon. Just got my second set of tires on her a few thousand miles ago. I suspect I may need new brakes pretty...
My BIGGEST complaint by a wide margin is the rattles and buzzes when cruising. Just speaks to poor fitment of interior panels. Everything else about my car I love!
New I've been using Mobil One Extended Performance OW-20 and Mobil One Extended Performance filters every 20K Miles. did my last two oil changes with this at 30K and 50K miles. 20K miles is about 6 months for me with the highway miles that I rack up.
I had this happen before. I took it to Honda and told the guy what I thought it was. Turns out I was right. They didn't even charge me a service fee or anything. He took the wheel off and bumped the brakes and the rick fell out.
Probably the most noticeable thing that gets on my nerves is the cabin rattles. Seems cheap inside. Other than that it would be the ease of paint chips forming.

I drive about 55 miles to work and back each day, so I really rack up the miles. 16 months and over 50K miles. The payment is high...
I actually use my Si to do Uber. Nor all the time, but a little bit on the side. I did it more last year to pay for a trip to Disney with the family. I just use the destination feature and do it during my 55 mile commute now. I don't get that many riders, but it any riders I pick up don't...
There is ONE Resonator and TWO Mufflers. I had the TWO Mufflers removed, but left the resonator in place. I also don't have vehicle inspections where I live. The car was too quiet with the mufflers installed. I can now hear the exhaust without it being annoying. And, it's really only 'loud'...
I drive 90% on the highway, and this is easily the best highway driving car that I have ever owned. Not too darty in the nose. Tracks straight. Tires are a little noisy, but low volume on the radio makes this a non-issue. and get around 44-45 mpg in purely highway driving. Overall, I think...
I did this a couple weeks ago. I get minor drone at 1700 RPM and at 3400 RPM. I do love this mod!!! I love the crackles and pops!
Did you keep the stock exhaust tip? I did for now, but I'm considering going with a burnt titanium tri-tip.
I paid $150 at a good shop in my area. I have heard a few getting it done for as cheap as $80, and some spending upwards of $250. Just call around to a few shops in your area. Read some online reviews.
I had a buddy drive my car yesterday. He LOVED the exhaust after the modification.
First off, just break the car in. Get a feel for it. By then you'll have a good idea of what the car needs to make you enjoy it better.
Personally, I have done aesthetic mods first. Smoked turn signals, JDM Badges, window chrome delete, & muffler delete. Window tint is next. Then I'll...
I switched to Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W20 rated for 20,000 miles. I put 10K miles on my car in 3 months with 90% highway driving. Now that I have over 30K miles on the car, I figure the break-in is complete and I wanted the longer change interval so I didn't have to change the oil every...
