Thank you for doing the leg work. I don’t like the answer, but it is what it is.

You had it on the rack with the wheels moving? I still find it weird the sound goes away if you press the clutch in while coasting.

So if we buy an aftermarket wastegate we should be good?

No, it't not the bar/lever! It's the wastegate actuator actually.

Not sure how that actuator is making a metallic sound but this guy tested it with a stethoscope and I was standing right next to him and the sound was clearny coming from the actuator... this is beyond weird though.

Then we don't have the same issue. When I get time I am taking mine in. Been busy and hope it will be soon.

    Here are my symptoms:
    -Noise only occurs when coasting.
-Goes away when pressing the accelerator
-Goes away when you press the clutch in

It's your wastegate actuator then. I have exact same symptoms.

Yes, we had the car on a rack with the wheels running.
The sound was coming straight from the wastegate actuator and the Honda Tech thinks what we’re hearing is the bracket but on the inside of the actuator and it goes away when it gets hot because it starts to expand.

I'm currently dealing with the dealer to see if I can have a new turbo setup installed..

They are trying to tell me that this is normal.

If it was nornal then everyone would hear the same saound!

    I have two noises....

1# - 6th gear about 120kmh / 80mph... You give just about the same throttle as the speed. Not even accelerate. You will then hear a high pitch sound from the gearbox that follows the RPM. It's most noticeable between 100 and 130km/h on my car.
2# - A rattlesound from the enginebay. the sound reminds me of worn bearings, but it's not related to RPM.
