Has anybody figured out how to bypass Honda's safety settings so that one can actually adjust the bass and treble without having to stop the car? I have an automatic transmission, so I'm not sure defeating the handbrake check will solve this.

interesting, its not blocked for me while i drive. (eu, hatchback)

i guess the only solution would be hondahack, since you can turn off any handbrake checks.

Have you tried tapping the Menu "button" on the left side? It should go right to the Audio settings (Bass/Treble/Sub and Bal/Fader, etc) even if you're playing music in CarPlay.

When playing music press "menu", then "sound". The bass, treble, fader settings should be available.

It's not a matter of not being able to find the sliders. If I am stopped, I can adjust them. If I'm driving I get an error message that they are only available when the vehicle is stopped.

I don't think it's a handbrake check. It's a check as to whether or not I'm stopped.

My ‘17 Sport Touring (with the F.197 OS update) still lets me adjust the audio while moving.

(I took this photo just for this thread; HIGHLY do not recommend taking pics while driving!)
