Windows Machine Needed for KTuner v2?

Yup, if you have a V2 you can use it to just load the tunes onto the device and from there flash to the car. If you have a v1.2, you use the PC to connect to the device which is connected to the car and flash it from the PC via the KTuner software.
But the KTune must be connected to both PC and the Car simultaneously, because if so it wouldn't work since the PC is stationary, not like a laptop?

My bad, i assumed your PC was a laptop not a desktop. Its not going to work then obviously because it needs to be connected simultaneously. However, you can just run windows on your mac through bootcamp or parallels and use KTuner software from there. Or, get a cheap windows laptop for the sole purpose of tuning.

I had the same situation only owning a desktop. The V2 was the perfect solution for me. Sure it costs $200 more but the convenience is totally worth it.

my ktuner fell and the screen is broken ....it no longer responds to touch .....can I use computer to flash ecu?

If you have linux... you can always instal a virtual machine and instal windows on it !?
