Fortunately for my R, the only "scrape" is on the bottom of my steering wheel from my work badge reel (twice) from getting into the car. But I'm OCD, and always feel it. It's bothering me enough to seriously consider upgrading to a new CF wheel :p
Took me forever to figure out how my Si steering wheel was getting scrapes on the bottom. Blamed everyone but me. Didn’t say anything, just new it couldn’t be me. Weird rough spot just on the bottom edge of the steering wheel.

Then as I was getting out of the Type R on like day 2, I realized the metal clip of my pocket knife scraped the bottom of the steering wheel as I got out.... knife moved to other pocket.

Mine was always my keys that were attached to my belt loop.

I had the same problem, it was my key in the pocket. The steering wheel has been adjusted slightly higher as well after that.

It sucks, but it's just a car. ----- . Shit happens.
Although difficult, it really does help to get into that frame of mind about a car - something that you may not even own in 5-10 years.

The 1st scratch is always the worse, after you get over that, the 2nd one is not nearly so bad.

After my wife's 1992 Honda Civic-EX coupe (above) has been stolen, stripped of parts, and the set on fire, we have learnt the hard way that worrying over a car really does not help one's happiness in life.

Exact same spot for me!!! I have no idea how it happened. Even looked back on my dash cam and couldn’t find anything. Kinda weird how that part was scratched that bad but literally nothing else was.

I also used touch up. Very hard to see from anything more than one foot away, so I guess it’ll do!

Lol! Sorry for your loss. So they stole it and then flipped it on its roof and then set it on fire?

I did have a car stolen here in Walnut Creek, CA but they just drove it until the gas tank was empty and some jerk put a cigarette out on the arm rest. Dealing with the police was the worst part of the experience. After I reported my car stolen a police officer 45 miles away called me and said they had eyes on my car. I said I'm on my way. I got in the car with a spare driver to collect my stolen car and 20 min later the police officer said they couldnt wait any longer and they impounded it. Which meant that when I showed up 20 min later I had to pay roughly $250 to a tow company for towing it to the police impound lot and then another $250 for impound fees. Basically it was a total racket.

Some kind of insurance?
Honda Canada's Owners Comfort + Tire&Rim Protection.

Yes, they cost quite a bit, , but I have 6 years of coverage for any minor dents, windshield chips, nails, replacement tires and Rims, Key Fobs, seat damage, and some other bunch of stuff.

It's definitely a 99-00 EX, not 92.

Daily driver here. Had to get my windshield replaced due to a massive stone hitting my car on the highway. Also, misc. chips here and there for normal use (although I have the front bumper PPF'd)

@winsanity324 and @Berta_CTR, could the scratch around the headlight be from the bottom of the front bumper bottoming out and the bumper plastic flexing?

I'm somewhat relieved that I'm not the only one who's accidentally scraped the bottom of their steering wheel in this car. :p

I'm still contemplating on mine for full front PPF. Been watching Obsessed Garage videos for his GT3RS. Seems like he's kinda regretting his, but his OCD is probably different than mine lol

I don't have a picture on hand but I scratched up the piano black plastic wing pretty bad when my buddy and I tried to jack up the car in the garage with the hatch open. Stupid idea...
