I have never thought our FK8 lacks bass. The stock audio system lack tremble high-pitch and mid-range quality though..
It is worse than my Mazda3 GT with the bose system
I love 6th gear. I put mine into 6th gear at around 60kph.
I know it isn't recommended by Honda, but it felt fine, no shake, and if I need power, I put it back to Third.
Even if the next gen Type-R would be made in Japan, I doubt it would still be a Gas-powered Turbo only with Manual Transmission.
May become some Hybrid drivetrain 4000lb GT car (given Honda's infamous record of ruining every promising car with their Hybrid System)
I use comfort 90% of the time. The roads here in BC are fine, but I want a subtle ride, plus R+ mode is meaningless in heavy traffic.
I know, maybe I should get a floaty Lincoln instead.
Honda Canada's Owners Comfort + Tire&Rim Protection.
Yes, they cost quite a bit, , but I have 6 years of coverage for any minor dents, windshield chips, nails, replacement tires and Rims, Key Fobs, seat damage, and some other bunch of stuff.
Quite a few 2018 leftovers here in Vancouver, BC. Most are charging for mandatory dealer accessories and the stupid $3000 Carbon Fibre tag-on package (which doesn't save weighs at all )
One of them sitting in a local Honda dealer's lot was R-14xxx, that car must have sat there since Spring of...
First time seeing a Civic Type-R while I am driving mine in Richmond, BC.
Finally seeing another FK8 on the road since I have got mine 2 months ago. I see more Mclarens than FK8 around here
I am contemplating that our FK8 would be the last Gas-only Type-R ever made by Honda, or perhaps even the last Type-R with a Manual.
Our cars could maintain their values for the years to come :D
