95% of people who get these have no intention to track the car they just like the track style ricer craze.im sure everyone is aware that support rods are not meant to be mounted to the bumper.... that is the wrong way to put support rods.
Not gunna lie I'm part of the 95% lol but I'd rather have everything mounted right anyway. I'm personally waiting for battle aero's chassis mounted splitter.95% of people who get these have no intention to track the car they just like the track style ricer craze.

Would you be able to show us how you mounted it and or where?Racebred Components splitter using their s2000 quick release chassis mounts modified to fit the CTR bumper support beam, 4 support braces behind the bumper. works very well, is very stiff. Very happy with it.
Very nice. I was considering taking some beam clamps and all thread to chassis mount one. I def need a chassis mounted splitter to support my cracked front lip from a stupid fox.Racebred Components splitter using their s2000 quick release chassis mounts modified to fit the CTR bumper support beam, 4 support braces behind the bumper. works very well, is very stiff. Exactly what I did ...I wanna cry now...You don't know how jealous of you I am... Was going to order one when they were still around but decided to wait... Wrong choice on my part.
I feel you on this. My splitter from Downforce Solutions came the exact same way. It’s all kinds of frustrating when you pay $275 for a part and can’t even get instructions on how to install it. Hell, my $40 side markers came with detailed instructions on how to install them.I ordered the AeroFlowDynamics and after messing around with it for a few hours it went back in the box and will go up for sale if things ever return to normal.
Zero written instructions, zero pictures/video of how-to, zero tech. support, turns out you need to do the usual full front bumper assembly pull PLUS an additional section behind it.
Rod mountings are NOT pre-drilled and no template is provided.
I seriously think they just did a template and the online images are all just PhotoShop (might explain the lack of rods I most of them).
I'm not sure they have ever actually installed one on a Honda Civic Type R at all.
I'd say - learn from my (costly) mistake.
