I got my oil changed at a honda service location for the second time because I have three free oil changes. This last time I noticed a weird rattling sound when I'm in low RPM's. I really dont' want to go to the service center because of this, any idea of what it could be? Anything I could do?

I'd check to see if the lower engine cover is secure. I believe it has to be removed for an oil change.

I have free oil changes with my dealer and this is another reason why I won't be letting them touch the car with a 10 foot pole lol.

I just won't redeem them, unless I change my mind, but I doubt I will. The oil change techs are usually some of the interns or really new techs, so I don't want them practicing on my car. So many horror stories over the years, I'm all set!

Very often, those FREE Oil changes come at an unacceptable price !!

Nothing in this world is truly FREE...

Ain't that the truth. My last free oil change I got was on the Xterra when gas was $4/gallon. They forgot to put the cover back on where the oil filter goes. About a 30-45 minute drive to go back so they could put it on without any offer of compensation of my fuel or an hour+ of my time... never again. I'd been changing it myself for years at that point and realized, again... it isn't just about the money. It's more convenient to do it myself and know it's done right.
