I posted this on the Civic XI site but thought I would post it here as well as they compare the FL5 to the FK8 and in a straight line the FK8 is faster surprisingly. The FL5 looks great! From a dig and on the track there are more influences from the driver and tires imo but from a roll there’s less of those influences. Go to 5:45 for roll race. At 23:00 Thomas says it’s unacceptable that the old Type R is faster than the new one in a straight line.

I wonder if the FK8 actually has better aerodynamics than the FL5?

I wonder if the FK8 actually has better aerodynamics than the FL5?
That would be interesting to see but would suspect the differences would be minor.

I would love to see a writeup on the aero. I remember seeing something about the FK8 having .26 coefficient of drag compared to something like a tesla with .20
