Alright everyone , sorry for the delay. Been super busy to provide a more extensive review. Hopefully the following information answers any questions you may have if your are interested in getting these.


PURCHASING & other PRODUCT INFO

1. These headlights are made by DK Motion. Original link was found deep on Amazon directly from the manufacture . Purchased just a lil over a month ago at a very good price! . Since then the price has gone slightly. Do not believe that particular link will be open for long. Find link at @civicsocialclub if you are interested.

2. These headlights will soon go on sale at HiRevSports and SumaPerformance and a couple others. FYI, original advertised price for these headlights from a couple of these previous resellers were stated to be almost $1k. The headlights came with a 1 year warranty. An additional 3 year warranty can be purchased for $70 i believe.

3. Dk Motion has excellent customer service. All questions were replied almost immediately or by the next day through email. They are based over seas ofcorse. I have no doubt sources like Hi Rev Sports and Suma will have great customer service as well.

4. Pics of packaging will be provided. Package was great. Well covered.
NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE PROVIDED, Although i was able to obtain them directly from DK Motion over email right away. I will post the instructions here aswell in the event anybody needs them or would like to see them.

APPEARANCE and FUNCTIONS


5. These Jewel Headlights come in two versions.. the White... and the BLUE( Purple) .
The only difference between them is the color during the scan.
Meaning that when the headlights are first turned on, the Jewels rotate for a bit ... during that rotation process the jewels light up blue/purple.. when the rotation ends, they light up in white for normal function and use.
The White version also rotates at start up, except it remains bright white then ultimately brightens white along with the low beam. No additional color at all.

If you only enable the DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHTS, the blue version will rotate the jewels upon start up as usual, come to standstill, and then will stay on blue.. They will fade into white as soon as you enable the LOW BEAM for driving.

6. They are very well made and look super good in person. Quality of lights look and feel great. the fitment on my set was great, everything lined up just right with oem.

7. They come with its own harness that attaches to the oem harness.

8. After install you adjust the beam positioning as needed. There is a black screw/knob behind the headlights that adjust left to right position and another white wheel/screw that adjusts the height . Space is tight if you install the lights and put your bumper back on. Special tools will help with this though.

9. Output of light is great.! Better than OEM for sure. !I will post pics and video for you to get an idea. Some have asked how they compare to morimotos. I have not seen morimotos in person or there output which without a doubt is known to be great. I hope to meet up with a fellow civicsocialclub member who has them to compare.

10. Dont wait up... Get em while you can!!!!! lol If anyone has any other questions or anything i missed , il try to answer it as soon as i can.

What everyone should ask. Who is the maker of these headlights? You can't say Suma Performance if they partnered with another company to produce them under their own brand.

These headlights as well as the ones advertised by suma performance are manufactured by DK Autosport. They manufacture headlights for makes like Mazda and Toyota . They are the same headlights that will soon go on sale at HiRevSports. All these places are simply sellers obtaining there headlights from same supplier.

I was able to obtain these directly from supplier before there sale/availability in the states. Fresh off the ship and stoked to get them on. I'm interested in seeing how they compare to morimotos. Stay tuned!?

Your lights are aimed hilariously high in the video in the OP. Everybody else on the road hates you. I hope there's enough adjustment to aim them properly or these are a total loss.

Also, we need DRL and turn signal photo/video in daylight. Photos in a dark car wash bay are pointless and show nothing because anything looks bright.

Hey there! Yes I've adjusted them since then. The night I recorded that footage was the same evening I first tweaked there setting. First time doing so with aftermarket headlights. They really are bright. Adjusting them is easy. Thanks for your post.

Output looks good, potentially better than Morimoto XB though I'd need to have them for sure. I hope there's an option for the signal to not be sequentially because the way they've done it doesn't look good, nor bright enough. But again the most important thing is low beam output and that looks good.
