I’m guessing there was no Reaction Time recorded after the last green light and the Elapsed Time began after crossing the stage beam triggers at the starting line. Kind of like the “go whenever you’re ready” technique for the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine?

Isn't this similar to how automotive publications test 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? Traditional launch would add what, .2 seconds? Trap speed would still be the same wouldn't it?

It's a test and tune . R/t doesn't matter. This is very common. The timer doesn't start until you cross the beam
