Ktuner above radio mount not fitting?

Ive been unable to fix the mount properly for my civic sedan. I have attached a video below trying to do so.

IIRC with these style mounts you need to work them at an angle. Such as, work the bottom into position and then force the top to snap in place. It takes a bit of force, and beware as during install or removal these can scratch the trim plastic or even the dash soft touch if you're careless.

If you really just can't get it to snap in, maybe yours is defective somehow?
