About to install an APR Hood Scoop--Advice and suggestions welcome!

i love mine! took the advice of swapping over the rubber gasket and I am super happy I did, totally completes the look. The hood scoop came with this thin strip of styrofoam that outlined the entire scoop, but i ripped that off and put the oem gasket on. Totally completes the look.

I do have to say my favorite view of it is from behind in the drivers seat.

You can put or make rubber or plastic washers and put them on each bolt to elevat the scoop from the hood this will compensate for what the big rubber black blocks do

Not a good idea if you want water getting into the engine bay sure....

No water gets in to the engine bay it has nothing to do with that

Why is the Seibon hood scoop so much more expensive than the AOR scoop

must be brand , apr is better elaborated were the scewa go , other than that the seiban scoop is the oem looking scoop apr has the higher air duct looks much better , i also have the fender trims from apr and they are perfect fitment great quality and also better price than seiban
