The hood looks nice with the accent carbon fiber scoops left unpainted. Such a beautiful hood in bare carbon, I would have a hard time spending more money painting it after I spent all that money to buy it.

How's the rain protection? are there covers or channels? That was one of the reasons why I never got a seibon hood cause of the lack of rain protection.

Varis gives you a rain guard cover. It creates a channel for the rain to exit out of the front of the hood. I’ll take a pic tomorrow to show how it works.

I like that it has a channel to drain the water out, but I wonder over what part of the engine it will drip down onto. Right in front of the turbo, or over it? The paint looks fantastic!

it goes to the front where the hood meets the bumper where your plastic cooling panel is at.

there are 2 drain guides (one on left and right) to drain them towards the hole in front of the hood.
You can see if when you put a flashlight through it.
