I am really interested in a 2020 type R as a fun daily and beginner track car. However, my wife would like a full safety suite as she sometimes drives the car home after working an overnight.

It sure looks like the 2020 Type R comes with the full safety suite:

Is there an owner out the who can confirm that it does have the honda sensing safety features, and that the adaptive cruise works reasonably well?

Also, can someone tell me if the 2020 has 3 seat belts in back, or only 2?

Thanks!

yes acc and lane keep works pretty good (not the best, but good)

just remember the safety suite does not include blind spot monitoring which is really important for some people.

only 2 seat belts in the back. can be seat swapped to have 3 if u really want.

Works great and the car is super easy to drive especially with rev matching downshifts and brake hold that keeps you stopped at a light with the brakes on / on a hill, and you can just relax and take your foot off everything then start in on the clutch / going into gear and driving off.

First stickshift my wife hasn't minded driving!
