Hey!

The only thing I dislike about the appearance of Sport is that the car sits too high. It's almost like it's trying to become an SUV. Is anyone else bothered by this, or am I just going crazy?

Has anyone lowered their Hatchback? If so, what'd you do?

I'm a complete noob when it comes to this, don't really enjoy messing with cars (only driving them), so would appreciate any advice if it's possible to lower it, what are the disadvantages and what's the best way to do this.

Thanks!

Not bothered by it myself. The FK7 already looks lower than my EP did when the EP was stock.

Lower it the same way other 10th gen Civic owners have been lowering their cars. Different springs, or airbag setups, or whatever.

If anything, the skirts look too low to me, I'm concerned that they may be prone to scraping at stock height.

The most common thing people are doing are Eibach Sportline drop springs, SPC rear camber arms to get the alignment back within factory spec, and 20mm spacers to get the wheels flush with the fender. I have a very similar setup and have not scraped anywhere yet (it's only been one week though). You could look at the Eibach pro-kit springs for a more conservative drop. Search the forum for "Eibach" to find photos of examples.

Supposedly the Eibach springs are engineered to work with the OEM shocks/struts. I'm sure it's not a perfect match. Time will tell what the real impact is.

How did the Eibach hold up? I'm waiting for an Eibach Sport Plus suspension kit this week. Thos isbgoong to be the first car I've had lowered and I'm a little nervous about it.

I have ksport coilover, it lower to no gap between fender and the wheel.
It looks alot better and cornering better.
However the ride is harsh for daily especially if the road is not even.
If you are looking for just lowering, you can go with spring.. i heard from other civic owner said the lower spring has similar ride comfort as stock.
