I got my mirrors installed and working Manually only. I got the universal auto fold module from amazon, connected all the wires but it won't auto fold.

I'm not doing this automatically...I'm just pushing the button to fold them in and out when I park the car.
Let me look into the module some more....

I got mine to work manually, but I want autofold.

This one is universal, it is a simple connection to your door lock signal, 12v and acc. But I don’t seem to be able to get it to work.

When you can, would you send me the wiring diagram? I can't quite see it in the picture.

Like this, very simple. It won’t detect the door lock signal. My guess is that the module only works for analog on older cars, civic uses a digital system for the door controller. What do you think?

Hmm yeah. Maybe the lock signal is ground signal. I know the BCM in the dash connects to the door Control Module with a CAN-bus connection and this seems to be how the door switch would normally 'communicate' with the opposite door mirror to fold in or out. I assume the lock button is just a signal to the BCM in a similar fashion.

I wired my fold function to the EDM power fold switch directly since the relay is built in to the switch.

A solution that may be cheaper and more practical but involves a little circuit building is to simply use a relay with 1NC and 2NO contacts. When the acc is off, it will default to folded in, when the car acc is on, it defaults to whatever the button is toggled too. Use diodes to protect your car.
