Anyone try the window molding kit vs vinyl wrap for chrome delete?

Just curious if anyone's tried this kit? It's a bit steep IMO on price given that it's just getting rid of some chrome, but it is tempting given how mixed the results are on vinyl kits.

yeah kind of why i'm not buying it yet. I'm hoping it drops to like $200. In watching the install video i get it, it's actual replacement trim and at least then i don't have to worry about it peeling or anything but at $400 right now it's a no for me lol.
