I’m running 2 degrees in front right now and I think it’s definitely streetable. There’s a little bit of tramlining on the highway but it’s manageable, and I haven’t seen much impact on tire wear even after a couple road trips. A car that weighs 50% more than ours would probably have more wear...
Just got a quote from my local Honda for $2180 for an evaporator replacement a year after an AC recharge. Are there any tips for managing a goodwill assistance request from Honda corporate? I want to try and go directly to Honda first.
My alignment shop was able to get everything corrected with the stock toe arms. Ride height doesn't influence toe with the rear multilink suspension as much as the front McPherson suspension anyway so it wasn't a significant issue. Besides, STH class rules restrict us to only one suspension arm...
I think I've got my rear end fairly dialed in, I'm on coilovers with -2 degrees camber up front but have all factory rear alignment (-1 degree camber, 0.1 degree toe out). Camber arms in the rear really sorted out my setup, and I think -1 degrees is alright for the rear if you have a stiffer...
I should have specified I'm on coilovers so that's where I get the extra camber. Not sure where the strut pin pull gets you as far as camber goes, but you could probably find the info in the H Street threads perhaps.
As far as wear goes, I haven't really seen an increase in inside wear after a...
I've autocrossed for about a year and a half in STH class, 255s will fit with no rubbing with a 1" drop and 2 degrees of camber. It feels like you really need the extra tire to compete, so go as large as you can. Also a note, don't buy Enkei RPF1s, you'll need a 5mm spacer to clear the brake...
If it's coming from the rear suspension check your swaybar endlink nuts, as Ronny already suggested. I've had mine back off twice, the first time it backed fully off and the swaybar stripped the threads off the stock endlink, as pictured below.
If you ever install or already have the Whiteline...
Oh yeah and my clutch is starting to go, no slippage yet but I can smell clutch when I get on it. Yay, another thing to buy, and the first thing I'll have to get professionally installed. That won't be cheap.

To reset the tire pressure monitor, use the button corresponding to the symbol on the panel to the lower left of the steering wheel. Hold it for a second or two and it will blink and disappear.
Before you do that though, inflate or deflate your tires to the correct pressure. The tire pressure...
I have the DEPO clear markers with the reflective pattern. I feel like those are a little bit safer than the JDM ones as far as illumination from other drivers' headlights go. I think the clear matches nicely with the headlight color. Never had a problem with leakage, and I've pressure washed...
Yep, learned myself on my car, and taught my roommate clutch control and 1st gear in an hour. I would recommend it from an exhaust sound standpoint as well. I've heard a straight-piped CVT before, although admittedly it was a Nissan CVT (considered the worst of the bunch), and it didn't sound...
I have the spacer, and can give you approximate dimensions. It's about half an inch to three-quarters of an inch thick, with around 2mm thick washer-like non-threaded holes for the three stock mounting bolts to go through. On top, there are three different sets of three threaded holes for...
I'm currently not in the position warranty-wise to be messing around with my transmission, but in the future post-tune and clutch this could be very attractive. This is the first activity I've seen on this topic in a long while, so if it's true this could be very cool.
As far as I know. I've had no issues so far. Only real issue is where to put the ballasts, and I secured them to the black frames just above the headlight housing.
A week or two ago I installed some Hikari LED headlights with the new Philips LED chips. They're brighter than I was expecting, and I see no major issues with cutoff point after I adjusted them downwards a couple degrees. Would recommend, if you can stand the $90 new technology tax.
