I'm almost due for some new pads/rotors, and i'm about to order from the internet. I would like to avoid the stealership. anyone have any suggestions for a shop to do my brakes around the dfw area? I am nervous with all of the misshaps I have read about with the electronic parking break, and I do not want to do any of this brake work myself. thanks!

I'd wager that most shops would know how to deal with electronic parking brakes, or have lifts that would side step the need to engage and disengage the brakes entirely.

it's honestly not too bad of a job to do on your own, but I haven't quite found another shop that has been cool with the type r's just yet in DFW. as far as rotors and pads I've been doing it myself.
You can maybe help the tech out a bit and just give them the instructions for handling the rear parking brake procedure, and any decent shop should listen to you! K3S auto repair (they're a performance shop), and doghouse performance out in Cresson have been places I trust.
