Recommendations for Brake Pads With Low Brake Dust

Currently in the market for some Low Brake Dust Brake Pads to change out the OEM pads. Spoke to a few other TYPE R owners and they suggested Carbotech 1521 and Hawk Street Performance. I appreciated the suggestions

Akebono = no brake dust.

Doesn't have initial bite like oem pads, but decent for street driving.

Generally speaking, no brake dust means more wear on rotors. The energy has to go somewhere. Either is goes to tearing the pad apart or tearing apart the rotor.

Doea Girodisc make rear pads for the CTR? The only have front pads listed on their website

yes Girodisc makes what they call “Magic” pads for the rears. If interested call Girodisc and ask For them directly.
