I do not have any idle chatter. Atleast that I notice from inside the car. Or walking up to it while it is on.
I wouldn’t say it’s extremely loud or even noticeable from the outside, but sometimes after I’m done driving I’ll sit there in neutral I can hear some chatter from inside the car

These issues have me now rethinking the clutch...damn it. was looking at the Stage 2+ with steel flywheel combo. I sure wish Exedy would release....was supposed to happen this summer...I am gonna baby this as long as possible and if not released by the time I can't go any more, maybe just get the 350x clutch....

I recommend either getting a CTR retro or waiting a few more months for ACT to release their kits.

Ya avoid the fx350. I've already worn mine out @20k on it. It was great for the duration tho. But it seems to be hit or miss on the experience.

Go R retrofit

Yeah....I'm kind of at a crossroads. I have sent out messages for the CTR retrofit with no response as to lead time and now it looks like the 350x is out of the question. The problem is, I'm already having to baby the stock clutch as she was slippin.

Hey all,
My 17' Si was used as a mule car for the new ACT clutch system. Here are some specs:
  • Kit will be offered with multiple types of friction discs paired with a Heavy duty pressure plate.
    • Organic Disc: 363 ft lbs
    • 6-Puck (Sprung or unsprung): 464 ft lbs
  • Streetlight single-mass flywheel weighs 17.5 lbs.
    • Stock unit weighs 31.5 lbs (44% Weight loss).
  • Pedal effort went from ~20 lbs to 30 lbs- hardly noticeable.
  • Expected release won't be till August/September.
  • Expected cost has not been calculated as of yet.
I opted for the organic disc and have put a little over 500 miles on the clutch so far.

I cannot talk highly enough on the quality and general drive-ability of the clutch. No clutch chatter. No CEL. There isn't even a noticeable difference in operational noise that seem to plague single-mass flywheels. Revs drop more quickly now with the lightened rotating assembly.

I tried to DM Eman a while back with no response. I am not friends with him on Facebook and can not send a request. What is his Instagram? I kinda gave up on it tbh.
I think Eman had issues with his machinist. He probably got swamped with orders that he could not fill. He just started shipping out kits again this week. I would give him a couple of weeks or more to catch up and then try him again.
