Who owned the earliest Honda? 1977

I'll start this off, because it will be difficult to beat a 1977 Honda Civic CVCC, with the 4 speed, bias-ply tires. I'll choke if someone had a 600 Coupe.

Many years ago I had a CVCC. Not sure if it was a 77 though, can't remember. It was some burnt copper looking color, and ran like crap. It had been badly beat on before I even got it. I only paid like $250 for it. I think I sold it to a junk yard for almost what I paid.

I tried to pin down what year the red first gen civic that we had in the early 1980's was but I still can't tell. My avatar has it and it's in Canada. We had our first two kids and their car seats in it before it finally got replaced.

Yea, you have the original larger file size to look at (to fit the avatar loses a lot of detail)? If the taillights were half red/orange, it was later. Yours is the trunk version, mine was a hatchback.
I had to get rid of my '87 Civic Si after the first kid, PITB to get into the back seat.

My dealership had a 600 coupe on the lobby with a big sign Not for sale on it. Going there tomorrow for my third brake light housing replacement. If they still have it I'll take a pic and post it.

When I was buying my first car, a '78 Ford Fiesta, the dealer wanted to sell me a '79 Accord HB instead. (The Civic just seemed too small compared to the Ford. Imagine that. The Fiesta had 12 inch tires.) But the extra $1k to get into the Accord was, at the time, all the money in the world to me. LOL. Dropped the extra change for a '16 Touring vs. EX-T without really batting an eyelash. Didn't buy a Honda until we bought an Integra LS 5-door in spring of '86, from the first Acura dealer in Colorado, while they were still selling cars from a trailer, as their store was being built.

Sorry...owned a used 1971 Honda 600 Sedan. Lots of fun and it taught me how to drive a manual transmission without synchromesh. I bought this used after being impressed with my dad's 1972 Honda 600 Sedan (full synchromesh) which he bought new.
