Took a trip up north into the Pocono Mountains and hit some mountain roads. I wish I lived near these roads all the time!

On the plus side, Type R works pretty good as a cruiser on the highway - although, after about 2 1/2 hours of consecutive driving I do start to feel pains in my lower back and legs.

Fixed my grill.

There's a hole on the ebay grille when I opted to leave out the emblem (for maximum airflow ?).

Bought a gutter guard a while back (intended to cover the lower (intercooler) grille but never got around to it), so used a small part of it for this project.

From Home Depot.

Trace and cut with wire cutter. Grind to shape with a dremel tool.

Test fit. Zip tie all four corners.

Voila! Fixed my grill.

Mishimoto IC and piping

Turbo blanket and wrapped intake piping, also swapped in new headlights

And finally mounted wheels I've had since last fall

Car is filthy and was driven straight to detailer for ceramic on the wheels and spring cleanup

nice, is that catless dp? r u running with Hondata or KTuner? If u r running stock ecu, does it throw any code?

Got it tuned. RPM lead failed on the baseline. Assuming it made 340-350ftlb. Made a bit more than I left with, but had to turn down the boost.

What modifications have you done power wise? Thats solid power ??

Nothing crazy.

Intercooler, intake, inlet pipe, down and front pipe. Tuned with Hondata.

The DP is catted and I'm running Hondata. I've only driven it about 5 miles so far but no codes yet, though I may already have it disabled. I haven't flashed a new tune yet for the new mods. I finished putting it all together and drove it straight to my detailer and dropped the car off.

Easter Egg Hatched in 2019?

There’s no ‘’Easter Egg’ design on the bottom of my center console Rubber pad bottom as Honda-Pro Jason talks about and has been seen here before with varied designs molded in. Not unless my design is Traces of Carbon Fiber at Night With Snow Flurries.

Did Honda stop this in 2019? Mine was bought new from dealer in ATL.

I dont remember which thread has it nor could i find it searching about the several chance diff logos that used to be in the R.

Really disappointed (kidding) but maybe lack of design saves me a few hundredths of an ounce, giving me an inconceivable speed advantage?
