Hopefully tuners could offer the option to disable sensors responsible for limp mode, I’m sure the Honda TCR cars don’t suffer from this. Neither the car will melt overheating, they are just designated parameters by Honda.

The civic type r TCR, is completely different cooling design , it has the intercooler on top , it has us own separate channels for the air , one specific for the radiator , another for the intercooler and oil cooler , and doesn’t have ac co denser so the air flow go strength to the radiator and the mounting is v configuration .
You could modify the oem type r but you need to get rid of the crash bar and re design the front end .

Doesn't the factory race car also have hood vents?
