FOG to DRL module

Hello Folks!

After a couple requests from members, I’ve decided to move forward and make this module, but what’s the difference between what this module does vs DRL/FOG lights?

This module allows you to ‘’ONLY’’ turn ON the FOG lights, as soon as you release the parking brake instead of the DRL. Also, the other function is when you turn ON your High Beams, it will turn ALL the lights on at the same time ( DRL+FOG+LOW beams + HIGH beams). The same function as when you flash your High Beams.

The module has a switch used to turn it ON, and if you leave the module OFF, all the OEM functions will remain the same.

The price of the module is $128 US shipped.

Plug and play and same button lid switch as DRL/FOG lights module.

Installation time same as DRL/FOG lights module (10 to 30 minutes)

Here some pictures for reference:

1 pic: All off
2 pic: OEM DRL
3 pic: OEM DRL+LOW BEAMS
4 pic: OEM flash HIGH BEAMS
5 pic: Module FOG lights as DRL
6 pic: Module FOG + PARKING LIGHTS
7 pic: Module FOG + LOW BEAMS + HIGH BEAMS + DRL
8 pic: DRL/FOG lights module for reference.

In the pictures you can't notice the difference between parking lights plus FOG and the DRL+FOG, but there is a big difference in person, the parking lights turn ON very dim compared to DRL.

Mannnn I wish you had this out before I bought your Fog+DRL module!

I instead combined that module with a modified DRL extension cable. Only 2 wires go to the 3-pin DRL connector so it stays off when the low beams are off and turns on with the low beams. My fogs are my only daytime lights with this method.

Now that I have that new pigtail between the DRL, my fogs flicker on when I shut my car off and if the headlights are ON via "Auto" on the stalk switch.

Idk how long you've been making em, but I got one back in Jan this year. I saw a vid on some older modules needing to tap into existing wires under the dash, but I don't recall needing to do that with this module. I think it was all plug and play? Idk, it's been a while since I installed it lol.

I might end up buying this new module if the flickering of my fogs becomes a constant issue. It's weird that it flickers even when I turn my car on and off w/o even releasing the e-brake switch.
