Just curious, why the gold tape INSIDE the airbox? Wouldn't that just trap latent heat and bounce it around inside?

That was my first worry when it was wrapped but surprisingly it didn't impact the temperature at all. I didn't want to wrap outside just in case I ever got stopped by a cop who would want me to pop my hood. Regardless of it being CARB certified, I didn't want to bother with more questions and potential hassles. Also looking at live temps through Ktuner, I noticed temps only get affected if I take off the top lid just to hear the sound.
